Charter Boat Hire - South Coast NSW
Batemans Bay Fishing offers the exclusive use of the M.V. Jean Marie. The ultimate fishing or cruise charter boat. You set the agenda including the times you would like to depart and arrive home. Some of Batemans Bay Fishing's private cruise tours have included a family cruise around the bay, a sunset photo shoot, a scenic trip off to the spectacular Tollgate Islands and memorial services for loved ones.

Tailor your own private charter, here are some ideas:
A MEMORABLE MOONLIT CRUISE:
For something very different why not try dinner at sunset in the calm waters of the Clyde River on your own floating retreat. Bring along a picnic hamper and we'll anchor in the waters out from Batemans Bay's foreshore and watch day become evening as the sun sets under the Batemans Bay Bridge and the lights of the town glitter across the water. The perfect romantic setting for a very special occasion or fine dining with a select group of friends.
A FISHERMANS DREAM:
Let Batemans Bay Fishing make your fishing dream come true with a personalised fishing charter adventure. You can hire the boat just for one or invite a few close friends. You call the shots and choose what type of fishing you would like to do. Bottom bouncing for snapper, mowong, flathead and maybe a kingfish and others or we can go trolling for the big pelagics, tuna, marlin, sail fish or perhaps a shark.
FOR A WHALE OF A TIME:
Whale watching is common on the NSW South Coast with the mighty Humpback Whales often calling into Batemans Bay during their migration to the southern Ocean and return. When the season is right, typically September, October and November, you might wish to try your luck at whale watching or dolphin spotting. We can even drop anchor at one of the beautiful sheltered beaches and you can take a dive yourself. Conventions and group bookings, small or large can be arranged to suit your requirements.
A TOLLGATE ISLAND TOUR:
The Tollgate Islands in Batemans Bay were named by Lt James Cook on his epic voyage along the East Coast of Australia in 1770. They lie only 10 mins by boat from Batemans Bay Marina and represent many a perfect postcard setting. The Tollgate Islands have been declared a National Park and permits are required to go ashore, but anchoring the boat in the sheltered waters provides you the ultimate pleasure observing the natural wonder of these islands from the comfort of the Jean Marie providing beautiful memories worth holding onto.
BIRDWATCHING CRUISES:
Four times each year, the Jean Marie takes a group of ornithologists out to the Continental Shelf to view the myriad of sea birds not found on land. The South Coast of New South Wales Australia is world famous among ornithologists and birdlovers for some of the best birdwatching of marine birds in the world. Albatross, Shearwaters, Petrels, Boobies, in fact around 30 different species have been sighted off shore from Batemans Bay on the Jean Marie.
